Great news for BETAsoft customers! We are pleased to announce that the BETAsoft line of thermal-analysis tools has been acquired by Mentor Graphics Corporation.

Explanation of acquisition

As of May 1, 2007, Mentor Graphics acquired the BETAsoft product line, which previously was developed, sold, and supported by Dynamic Soft Analysis. The BETAsoft product line will become part of Mentor Graphics’ HyperLynx® product line, within its Systems Design Division.

What will happen to the BETAsoft products customers currently own?

Existing Software Support Agreements will be honored for their duration. At this time it is Mentor’s intention to keep selling and supporting these technologies to our customers. Over time, new products may be added and existing products will be incorporated into the HyperLynx product line.

Who will BETAsoft customers go to for customer support?

BETAsoft’s existing technical support process will continue through the end of May 2007 for customers with existing contacts. Over time we will transfer support to Mentor Graphics’ 5-Star award-winning worldwide support infrastructure. This will be a major benefit for the BETAsoft customer base.
